About the York & District Organists' Association (YDOA)

Our membership represents both York and the surrounding areas and is open to organists and non-players. Some members just enjoy listening to organ music.

The Association organises a wide range of events, including recitals, visits to instruments of all sizes, demonstrations, seminars, master classes and social events.

The Association is also involved in a 'Pipe Burst' educational initiative.

Members receive a monthly newsletter call The Pipe Line, which contains news of events and other articles of both local and general interest.

The Association is affiliated to the Incorporated Association of Organists, enabling members to participate in the IAO activities and entitles them to the benefits and services provided by the IAO. Members can subscribe to the Organists' Review at a reduced rate.
