The 2004 European Tour - 16th to 20th April

The 2004 and 13th Annual Oxford Organ Tour was to Portugal from 16th to 20th April.

We flew to Portugal from Heathrow and stay for two nights in Lisbon and two in Porto.

Organs visited included:

• Évora (two: 1562 & 1758)
• Lisbon 
  • Cathedral: Flentrop (1965)
  • St Vicente de Fora (João Fontanes de Maqueixa (1765), Claudio & Christine Rainolter (1994))
• Coimbra (two: 1694 & 1733)
• Aveiro (1754)
• Porto (various, old and new, including Schnitger ,1701)
• Braga (two c1738).
