Founded in 1960 by a number of local organ enthusiasts, the membership is open to organists and non players who share a common interest in the organ and its music.
The Society's primary objective is to widen the interest and knowledge in playing and listening to the organ through its range of events such as composite recitals, outings to play organs, recitals & IAO educations events.
One of the Society's other objectives is to support the Saturday Organ Proms series. Ten organ recitals are held each year at the
Victoria Hall, Cultural Quarter, Stoke on Trent.
