Young Organists
Members of this Association who are under 18 years of age, or are still in full-time education, join at the reduced subscription rate of £5 per annum and have a special programme of events that the other members do not attend.
This programme enables young members to play organs that they otherwise may not have the opportunity to do so, and as a result they gain experience in the different environment of, say, the Abbey or the Cathedral organs.
A grant scheme is also available for young organists who are members of this Association. This enables them to buy music, or defray other expenses, but the grants may NOT be used to pay for examination fees.
