Membership benefits

The Brighton & District Organists' Association covers the area from Eastbourne to Worthing along the coast and Uckfield in the North. It welcomes all those with an interest in the organ, its construction and music, whether or not they play the instrument themselves.

Meetings cover a wide range of activities, including visits to instruments of all sizes, from small one manual in country parishes to those in cathedrals. In addition there are master classes, recitals, demonstrations on techniques and social events.

Members receive newsletters on a regular basis, which include details of events, covering our own and other events where the organ is prominent, news about members and vacancies in the area.

The Association is affiliated to the Incorporated Association of Organists, enabling members to participate in the IAO activities and entitles them to the benefits and services provided by the IAO. Members can subscribe to the Organists' Review at a reduced rate.

How to join

You can join the Association by contacting the Secretary, when you will receive further details, an application form for membership and a current newsletter.

The subscription is £10.00 per annum, with reduced rates for senior citizens and students. A special rate is also available to second members in the same household.
